E-bikes and E-motos Purchase Policy

The followig policies apply to all E-bikes and E-motos purchased online.

Return Policy 

We offer a 3-day return policy for online e-bike purchases only. Returns require previous written authorization ;  you can email us at support@ebikesplug.com to request a return and e-bikes can be returned as long as the product is in its original new condition and packaging. (In store purchases and purchases for local delivery are final sale ). We require a receipt as proof of purchase.  If you wish to return a shipped order all shipping costs back to us are the responsibility of the customer If you have received the wrong color or size, we will pay the shipping fee. All approved returns mut be received back in our store within 30 days from when it is approved for return.  Contact us for discounted shipping for returning items that have been approved for return. You will receive a confirmation email to let you know once your return request is approved. You are responsible for the product until it is received by us in new condition. Refunds will be issued minus any fees for shipping or restocking once the product is inspected by our team. Refund processing will be completed by us within 5 days from when the bike is received and inspected. Your bank processing times for refunded payments may vary. All refunds are issued to the same payment method received. You may contact us to confirm the payment has been refunded on our end.

If for any reason you make a mistake while placing an online order contact us immediately during regular business hours and we will assist you as best we can, provided your order has not been processed. We cannot guarantee you will not be charged a fee once the order is placed. Call us and email us at (714) 430-4220 and follow up by email at support@ebikesplug.com reference your request in the subject line. 

Acceptance of your order does not guarantee availability. During peak seasons items may sell out. If an item sells out we will contact you as soon as possible and refund your payment if the item becomes unavailable.

If a returned e-bike or packaging is received damaged due to negligent re-packaging, no refund will be given, and the product will not be re-delivered. Make sure to insure any return shipment. Refunds cannot be completed on returned damaged items, and we are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items in transit. We recommend you insure any return shipment. 

Verify the address. If your shipment is undeliverable and returned to us you will be charged all shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee will apply. 

All returns are subject to and will be charged a 25% restocking fee, this includes orders that are cancelled once they have been processed. This restocking fee covers our in-store handling plus all the bank and credit card fees we are charged even when you return the product. No exclusions apply.

For any return items where free shipping was applied. Customer will be responsible for all shipping fees on approved returns, and this will be deducted from the total amount due including any restocking fee. Balance due to customer will be credited back to customers original form of payment.

ALL IN-STORE SALES AND SALES ARRANGED FOR IN-STORE PICKUP AND LOCAL DELVIERY ARE FINAL SALES. 

Promotions:

Generally, promotional codes and discounts cannot be combined with other offers. Sale and clearance products are not eligible. Promotional codes and discounts are only available to consumers and cannot be used for commercial buyers. Other exclusions may apply.

Warranty Policy: 

Warranty is activated with professional assembly. This is as simple as taking your bike in your local bike shop and having them build it for you. Once you get a receipt from them you can send that over to us via email should there be any issues or warranty claims. 

Damages that occurred due to user error or installation error, caused during assembly will not be covered or reimbursed.

Warranties are evaluated by E-bikes Plug and manufacturers respectively on a case-by-case basis. The time frame for resolution varies.  E-bikes Plug is not liable for reimbursement of non-authorized parts purchased and/or labor performed without prior authorization under the manufacturer’s warranty. For approved warranty items, E-bikes Plug will only assist in providing parts covered under warranty that are approved by manufacturers. Labor for any repair is not covered under any e-bike or e-moto purchased with E-bikes plug. Only covers parts as approved by the manufacturer for replacement under warranty. Any additional warranty coverage is at the discretion of the manufacturer. E-bikes plug will provide warranty assistance with manufacturer approval for up to 1 year from date of purchase.  Any additional warranty time frame is on a case-by-case basis based on manufacturer approval. We do not provide any extended warranty on our products. Any product sold “As-Is condition” does not include any warranty and same may apply for close-out products noted as sold in “As-is- Condition”. 

E-bikes Plug does not provide a warranty with the products sold. The manufacturer provided warranty typically does not apply to any of the following and may void all warranties:

  • Modification or adding any aftermarket parts that are not original to the product.
  • Any part of a product that has been repaired, altered, misused, and improperly installed. 
  • Deterioration of the paint and or parts due to rust/corrosion and due to environmental defects
  • Wear and tear of any product including but not limited to - grips, tires, tubes, spokes, brake pads, cables, wheel braking surfaces, chains, bearings, seats that naturally occurs from normal riding
  • Damage from unintended styles of riding, accident, neglect, abuse, racing and jumping.
  • Failure to provide regular maintenance of any product
  • Any visible signs of impact damage to the bike will not be covered under warranty .

Notice: Owners and Riders are responsible to check your city, state or country’s regulation on Products before riding. These vary by age limits, speed, motor wattage and road/trail accessibility. Regulations and classifications of products are constantly changing throughout the country.

Release of Liability Agreement

Riding e-bikes and e-motos is a thrilling experience, but it does come with risks. By buying or riding our products, you accept those risks and agree to hold E-Bikes Plug and our staff harmless. You agree not to take legal action against us for any accident, injury, or product issue. If an accident happens and someone else brings a claim against us because of your ride, you agree to defend us and cover our legal expenses

E-bikes plug reserves the right to change its policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revision date.
